If you have a visa for at least one of these countries, you can freely travel within both countries during validity period of your visa. No need to get two separate visas anymore!

How does it work?
  • If you have a Russian visa, now you can also enter Belarus with it. And if you have a visa for Belarus, you can enter Russia as well (this works both ways!)
  • If you have a residence permit, a temporary residence permit, or a document for participating in an international event in Russia, you can stay in Belarus without a visa during the validity period of these documents.
Attention! If you have a visa-free regime with Russia but not with Belarus, you need to apply for a Belarusian visa.

Important to know:
  • Entry into the territories of Belarus and Russia is possible through international border crossing points, as well as via established routes for international railway and air traffic, and road routes (Currently, six such routes are established, to see the full list, please click here https://mfa.gov.by/en/press/news_mfa/e90f53f504e4694f.html).
  • The duration of stay in Belarus and Russia is counted from the moment you enter from a third country.
  • If you are banned from entering one of these countries, this agreement does not apply to you.
This makes traveling more convenient and easier.
